De acuerdo a Tribuna la modelo Marie Esther Bangura lamentablemente perdió la oportunidad de representar Sierra Leona, en África Occidental,  por llegar tarde al centro de convivencia de las participantes.

Por su ubicación geográfica Marie Esther Bangura tuvo que viajar en barco hasta Tailandia, donde será la final el próximo 16 de diciembre.
